 Borosilicate glass! What is it? Borosilicate glass is a strong, acid proof material which has a low dilation coefficient factor and therefore is extremely resistant to thermal shocks. Originally born for pharmaceutical use and chemical equipment. Due to its workability it is also largely used in gift items and has other various and numerous applications. It is particularly suited for food storage and can be used in freezers, ovens and microwave ovens. It is dish washable and remains shiny and bright. The apparent fragility counters the solidity of this remarkable material.
Are Daniele Vetro products dishwasher safe?Yes they are. They are resistant products that can be washed with no problems in normal dishwashers. However we recommend hand washing because the long use of strong alkali based detergents for dishwashers may compromise the transparency of the glass. What are the delivery conditions?Products will be delivered by express courier or mail package. What are the payment conditions?Payment is COD or by bank transfer. Is it true that brilliance lasts in time?Yes, differently from the traditional Murano glass, borosilicate Pyrex glass maintains its proprieties of transparency and brilliance in time. Why is one item sometimes slightly different from the other? Small differences can exist between DANIELE Vetro products because they are exclusively hand made. |
